Art project: Light is my home

The exhibition comprises three immersive spaces featuring scenographic elements of sound, video, and painting. Rooted in the exploration of trauma, the exhibition centers on the theme of finding one’s way home.

As a young girl, I was adopted from Greenland to Denmark, and today I live with the lingering effects of those events; for me, a sense of connection to something greater—both within myself and beyond—forged through art, nature, and spirituality, has been and remains the path to healing, feeling more at home within myself, and “being with what is.”

The project is currently in development in collaboration with curator Stine Lundberg Hansen and motion designer Julie Bjørnskov, with additional guidance from scenographer Channie Koksvik.
